Employer Network Funding - Algonquin Students' Association

Your Students’ Association is committed to supporting on campus activities initiated by students that encourages learning and creativity as well as to increase employment opportunities.

Eligibility

  1. Designed to help you fund career nights/fairs and guest speakers.

Criteria

  1. Applications must be submitted no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
  2. After your application is submitted, we will send you a link to share with your classmates to sign. Each student attendee must include their name, student number and signature. All names will be verified against a class listing provided by the college.
  3. Only Activity Fee paying students will be considered for funding.
  4. All applications must have a program chairperson’s signature.
  5. All applications must include detailed and official estimates/invoices of all expenses from the suppliers and/or companies providing the services.
  6. When approved, cheques will be made payable to the suppliers and/or companies. Cheques will NOT be made payable to an individual.

Criteria NOT Eligible for Funding

  1. Any service to be provided by a professor, instructor, or any other person(s) employed by Algonquin College will not be considered for funding.
  2. Funding will not be accepted for academic requirements.

The Students’ Association reserves the right to refuse any application and retains sole discretion
to determine the approved funding amount in order to accomodate all requests received and
anticipated throughtout the year.

Please note: Applicants cannot benefit financially from this application. An incomplete application form will not be processed.
