With Geoff Tate at the forefront, Queensrÿche became internationally recognized as the definitive philosophers of the rock genre, combining social consciousness and expertly crafted lyrics with high-energy, melodically complex music.

Today, Tate is on tour with the final evolution of that legacy… Operation: Mindcrime – The Final Chapter, a cinematic concert experience celebrating the album that redefined the boundaries of progressive music.

Queensrÿche’s landmark concept album was a masterwork of ambition that shattered genre expectations, earning both critical adoration and commercial dominance. The record’s intricate narrative and sonic depth drew immediate, high-praise comparisons to the rock-opera titans of the past—frequently held in the same hallowed company as The Who’s Tommy and Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

This momentum carried into the multi-platinum follow-up, Empire, which featured the Grammy-nominated hit Silent Lucidity. The band’s cultural impact was further cemented by a historic performance of the track at the 1992 Grammy Awards, delivered alongside a full orchestra.

To capture the intricate, harmonized guitar work that defined a generation, Tate is joined on this tour by the dual-lead precision of Dario Parente and Amaury Altmayer. Together with Alex Hart, they create a formidable multi-guitar assault that stays true to the soaring, operatic arrangements of the original recordings.

“This tour is about bringing the story to its definitive conclusion,” says Tate. The 2026 performances serve as a bridge to the long-awaited studio release of Operation: Mindcrime III, scheduled for arrival on May 3, 2026.
