Join the Algonquin Students’ Association and Mamidosewin Centre on September 30 for a special screening of Bones of Crows in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Told through the eyes of Cree matriarch Aline Spears, Bones of Crows follows her journey from childhood in Canada’s residential school system through a century of resilience, survival and her family’s pursuit of justice.
This screening provides an opportunity for the campus community to learn, reflect and honour the experiences of residential school Survivors, their families and Indigenous communities.
