Campus Pride Week is coming to Algonquin College from Monday, September 21 to Friday, September 25. Celebrate Pride and community at the events across Ottawa Campus! From Board Gaymes to Pride Trivia, all events are open to staff, students, and alumni. Campus Pride Week is brought to you by Algonquin College and the Algonquin Students’ Association.

Sweets and Solidarity | Monday, September 21
Join us for a sweet celebration of community and connection! Stop by to enjoy free desserts while discovering local 2SLGBTQIA+ resources and supports. We’ll be handing out colourful sweets, resources, and buttons for students and staff (while supplies last)!
🕚 Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
📍 Location: Student Commons (E Building) & 1st Floor (ACCE Building)
Board Gaymes | Tuesday, September 22
Join us on Board Gaymes Night for a casual evening of laughter, friendly competition, and community! Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll leave with new connections (and maybe a new favorite game!).

Friendship Bracelet Making | Wednesday, September 23
Swing by our pop-up and get creative with custom Pride bracelets! Mix and match colourful beads, charms, and letters to make something totally you. Whether you’re repping your flag, supporting friends, or just love crafting with colour, come by to bead, connect, and celebrate love in all its forms. We’ve got all the supplies you need. No experience needed.

Pride Trivia | Thursday, September 24
Test your knowledge of 2SLGBTQIA+ history and culture with Canada’s Drag Race alum Dulce in an allinone Pride Trivia night! From iconic 2SLGBTQIA+ figures to legendary Drag Race moments to mustknow queer cinema, you’ll be put to the test in a fun, welcoming environment made for everyone.
Throughout the night, enjoy live performances by Dulce, bringing her signature charm, wit, and star power to the stage. (Space is limited in the venue, please arrive early to secure your spot. Some seating may have obstructed views.)
