Ottawa, ON – Mark your calendars for a night of cultural celebration! In honor of the 55th anniversary of Canada-China diplomatic relations and the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, the Canada-China Culture and Art Association (CCCAA) and Huaxing Arts Group Ottawa are proud to present a special gala performance on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The event, titled “55th Anniversary Celebration of Canada-China Diplomatic Relations and Mid-Autumn Festival,” is a collaborative effort co-organized by CCCAA and Huaxing Arts Group Ottawa. It is supported by a coalition of over 50 Chinese community organizations, including the Chinese Community Association of Ottawa and The Chinese Freemasons of Ottawa, showcasing a remarkable unity within the community.

Audiences will be treated to a diverse program featuring dance, vocal and instrumental music, magic, martial arts, and drama. Adding to the significance of the evening, the celebration will feature a special performance by Indigenous artist Awema Tendesi, highlighting the rich tapestry of Canadian culture.

This event promises to be a memorable evening of artistic excellence and cross-cultural friendship, commemorating an important diplomatic milestone and a cherished traditional holiday.

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
