Spring Festival Gala 2024 in Ottawa promises to be an exquisite variety show featuring outstanding performances by both esteemed Chinese and local artists. The event will showcase a diverse range of talents, including dancers, vocalists, instrument players, Beijing opera performers, and a magician.
Renowned national singer Wang Jianliang, along with accomplished dancers Huang Ying and Liu Xin from Wuxi Song and Dance Theater, will captivate the audience with their beautiful songs and exquisite dance performances, characterized by elegance and grace. Hailing from the Wuxi Chinese Orchestra, Xu Jinlong and Ji Li will demonstrate their exceptional skills in playing traditional Chinese musical instruments such as the Erhu and suona, providing the audience with a delightful experience of authentic Chinese music. Adding a touch of magic to the evening, magician Li Dongjin is set to mesmerize the audience with his enchanting performances.
In addition to these stellar performances, the gala will feature collaborative acts involving dancers, vocalists, instrument players, and traditional Chinese art performers from Huaxing Arts group Ottawa, creating a vibrant and harmonious celebration of cultural diversity.

Coat Check

Coat Check will be provided for this event. There is a $2.00, $5.00, or $10.00 suggested donation which will go towards the SA Food Cupboard. Large bags (such as backpacks, large purses, and gym bags) are not permitted into the venue.

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
