Presented by The Kiwanis Club of Ottawa.

The Kiwanis Music Festival has been in continuous existence from 1945 to the present. It was originally known as the Ottawa Music Festival Association until 1985 when the Kiwanis Clubs of the National Capital Region assumed shared responsibility with non-Kiwanian volunteers for the Festival. At that time the name of the organization was changed to the Kiwanis Music Festival. More recently the name was changed to the National Capital Region Music Festival 1945 to satisfy government protocols. We continue to operate as the Kiwanis Music Festival NCR because that is who we are in the hearts and minds of our people. When a young person, music teacher or parent asks “Are you doing Kiwanis?” they mean our Festival. All these many years, we have been an integral part of music education in the Ottawa area because music really does matter.

The 2022 Highlights Concert will be hosted CBC’s Teri Loretto!
