Whether you want to chill out, get creative, or blow off some steam, there’s an event just for you. Best of all? It’s all free for Algonquin College students!

Spa Day
When: Tuesday, October 7 | 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Where: Student Commons Front Lawn & The Landing

Take a well-deserved break with cold plunge therapy, sauna sessions, massages, and float therapy. Perfect for decompressing and recharging your energy.

Paint with Sheila
When: Wednesday, October 8 | 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: The Landing

Tap into your creative side with art educator Sheila O’Brien. No experience or supplies needed — just show up and have fun painting in a relaxed group setting.

Mario Kart Tournament
When: Thursday, October 9 | 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: The Landing

Unplug from studying and compete in a fun Mario Kart tournament. Win prizes, bragging rights, and new friends. Open to all Algonquin students — no registration required!

Smash a Car
When: Tuesday, October 14 | 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
Where: Student Commons Front Lawn

Need to let out some stress? Come smash a car in a safe and controlled environment. It’s a unique, adrenaline-pumping way to blow off steam before exams.

Candle Making Workshop
When: Wednesday, October 15 | 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: Student Commons

Relax and unwind while making your own cozy candle to take home. Supplies are provided by Irish Daisy Candle Co. A perfect way to slow down and destress.

Free Bubbletea
When: Thursday, October 16 | 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. The parking lot is located by the South Entrance. Parking is an $8.25 flat daily rate, with other hourly options available on the HONK Mobile app. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map and for more information on parking permits.
