Divine Rhythm Creative Arts and Prasanthi School of Dance are delighted to present Samarpan, meaning “Surrender to the Divine,” an annual Indian classical dance festival celebrating the spiritual and artistic richness of India’s heritage. The festival brings together performers of all ages, offering a platform for youth, bridging generations, and sharing India’s artistic soul within Canada’s multicultural society.

Samarpan showcases two of India’s most treasured classical dance traditions: Kathak and Bharatanatyam. Kathak mesmerizes with intricate footwork, graceful spins, and expressive storytelling, while Bharatanatyam enchants through sculpted poses, precise rhythm, and profound abhinaya.

Each performance blends technical brilliance, emotive artistry, and fresh contemporary interpretations. Through this collective offering, Samarpan embodies devotion, discipline, and timeless artistry, conveying stories that resonate across cultures and generations. Experience an unforgettable celebration of rhythm, grace, and spiritual expression, where Indian classical dance inspires, enchants, and connects hearts.

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
