Join your Students’ Association and the Mamidosewin Centre on Tuesday, September 30, for a free screening of the film Rhymes for Young Ghouls.

About the Film
Rhymes for Young Ghouls is a powerful Canadian drama set in the 1970s on a Mi’kmaq reserve, following 15-year-old Aila as she navigates loss, corruption, and the threat of residential schools. The film highlights the resilience of Indigenous youth while exposing the lasting impacts of colonialism and systemic oppression. It’s both an educational and emotional story that aligns with conversations on Truth and Reconciliation. Three sister soup will be provided, while supplies last

Parking

Paid parking is in effect at all times. Red Parking Lot 8 is the closest possible lot to our venue. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map.
