Tickets - Algonquin Students' Association

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Algonquin Commons Theatre Box Office and online through TicketMaster. We encourage patrons to purchase tickets only through certified ticketing websites as listed on each event page. Algonquin Commons Theatre (ACT) cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased through external parties and reserves the right to deny entry with unauthorized / invalid tickets.

Every patron must have a ticket in order to enter the ACT with the exception of non-ticketed events. Due to fire regulations, ACT cannot seat the house beyond its designated seating capacity.

Student Tickets

Events that have a student ticket type available will require proof of current student enrolment. A valid Student ID must be presented upon purchase of tickets and entry to the ACT.

Young Children & Age Restrictions

Policies surrounding young children and age restrictions will vary from event to event. For many events, children aged 2 years or younger may attend the event at no cost, with no ticket, by sitting on a parent’s lap. In this case, the child would not be assigned a seat. For events with Age Restrictions, valid government issued photo ID must be presented upon purchase of tickets and upon entry to the ACT day of event. Check out the event’s page for show-specific details regarding young children and age restrictions.

Will Call Ticket Pick-Up

Tickets to be picked up at “Will Call” are available for pick-up 30 minutes prior to doors opening on the day of the event. Please bring a piece of valid government issued photo ID and your confirmation number to redeem your tickets. Please note that the Box Office closes 30 minutes after the event starts, or following intermission.

Lost Tickets

Please contact the ACT Box Office for further assistance.

Cancelled or Postponed Events

In the unfortunate event that a show must be cancelled or postponed, refunds will be made available for all tickets purchased from the original point of purchase. Event-specific information will be posted on our website and social media as soon as it is available. We make every attempt to contact all ticket purchasers to advise them of the change.

Refund Policy

All tickets purchased are final sale. We do not process exchanges, upgrades, or refunds.
