Join us in celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Dragon! We will have an amazing Lion Dragon Dance group, yummy foods, and fun interactions.
This special occasion marks the start of a new year on China’s traditional lunisolar calendar. It is celebrated as the most important festival in China (known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival), South Korea (as Seollal), Vietnam (as Tet) and several other countries. It’s a time for family gatherings, feasting, and spreading joy.
The SA will host festivities in the Student Commons, in collaboration with the Algonquin Chinese Student Alliance, to offer treats, interactive activities, free bubble tea and a live performance from the Success Dragon Lion Dance Troupe.
