The Students’ Association Board of Directors brings together a group of student leaders who share one goal: building a campus community where every student feels heard, supported and connected.
Each board member brings their own story, strengths, and personality to the table, and together, they represent the diverse experiences that make our campus what it is.
Jacob Stewart (President)
Jacob is a straightforward, community-minded leader who believes every great campus starts with conversation. Whether he’s biking through the city, studying at the Corner Lounge or chatting with students at the ARC, he wants students to know that he’s always ready to listen and help out.

Cianah Miller (Vice-President)
Cianah brings a thoughtful, kind, and quietly confident presence to the Board. A natural introvert with a warm heart, she’s passionate about creating welcoming spaces for students and is known for her calm energy, love of R&B, and time spent on the Wolves basketball team.

Alex Gamero (Board Member and Elections Officer)
Alex leads with empathy, enthusiasm and a deep commitment to community. Originally from Peru, he’s driven by a desire to support students and create positive change. When he’s not advocating for others, you’ll find him longboarding across campus, playing volleyball or enjoying a well-earned brownie at the Wolves Den.

Hunter Houle-Saikaly (Board Member)
Hunter is someone who always puts others first. Inspired by his goal of becoming a police officer, he’s dedicated to helping students who may not always feel comfortable speaking up. He’s known for his positivity, approachability and love of good food.

Ishimwe Divine (Board Member)
Divine brings warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for people to her role. She’s passionate about listening to students, building meaningful connections and creating a sense of belonging. When she’s not studying in her favourite sunny library spot, she’s likely enjoying Coldplay or a strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

Shawna is the Board’s representative on the Pembroke campus. She combines humour, heart, and a strong motivation. With experience in the Canadian Armed Forces, she’s committed to helping students feel supported and empowered. She’s known for her kindness, love of the outdoors, and soft spot for animals.
