Holi is a Hindu festival that celebrates love, spring and the triumph of good over evil. It honours the divine love of Radha and Krishna and the victory of Vishnu as Narasimha over Hiranyakashipu. People throw colours during the festival to celebrate joy and share love and happiness with their loved ones.
